Arindam Krishna Das, Stage/Vocal Director Yellow Submarine, Stage/Vocal/Music Director Wonderland High

Arindam Das is one of our Artistic Directors, Vocal Directors and Music Directors when needed. Arindam brings a wealth of theater experience and most recently collaborated with TIM with the brilliantly successful 2015 show The Lion King and as conductor of TIM's Spamelot. Arindam LOVES kids! He has served as Musical Director for Little People Rep Theatre for over 15 years. He also serves as director and musical director for various local productions. Past shows include "Godspell," "Pippin," "Jesus Christ Superstar," "Hair," and "Tommy." A singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, he has played many roles onstage starting at the age of four including El Gallo in "The Fantasticks" and Tevye in "Fiddler on the Roof." 

 

Ben Jammin' Holck, Choreographer Yellow Submarine, Director/Choreographer James and the Giant Peach

Ben Jammin' Holck is our dynamic choreographer / director extraordinaire. He choreographed 2015's The Lion King to great acclaim. He is a founding member of non-profit, Santa Cruz Performing Arts. An educator, choreographer, vocal coach, and actor in the Santa Cruz and Bay Area, Holck has over 20-years experience directing full-scale musicals and teaching live-performance classes as a SPECTRA Artist in county schools. Jammin is currently the Artistic Director for SCPA, providing classes, programs, and events where kids can develop skills in music, dance, and theatre.

 

Lanie Iannucci, Choreographer Wonderland High

Lanie Iannucci is a professional dancer and choreographer in the San Francisco Bay Area. Most of her life Lanie focused on ballet and modern dance techniques and it wasn't until 2006 that she began to pursue musical theatre. In 2006 Lanie made her first Musical theatre debut as choreographer for San Jose Lyric Theatre's production of Naughty Murrietta, and since then she has assistant choreographed and choreographed for musical theatre companies and dance festivals throughout the Bay Area. Lanie's most recent performance on stage will be October 2016 in Ragtime with Woodside Community Theatre. Lanie is excited to join the Theatre in the Mountains production team, and share her love of musical theatre and dance with the next generation of talented artists.

 

Kyle Fox, Assistant Director & Stage Manager Yellow Submarine & Wonderland High

Kyle has been involved in theater (both onstage and offstage) for around twenty years. Kyle has been a TIM pillar with his support in front, behind and even on stage! Veteran of productions such as You're a Good Man Charlie Brown, The Lion King, and Narnia among others. Most recently Kyle has been seen onstage as a member of the Festival Theater Ensemble, recent roles have included Tybalt from Romeo and Juliet and Aramis in Further Adventures of the Three Musketeers. Kyle has extensive experience and interest in stage combat and is currently assisting the fight scene choreography for West Valley College’s She Kills Monsters (not a kid show). Kyle is grateful to be part of the TIM team, having his ideas listened to and opinions valued. He sends special thanks to everyone who worked so hard to help this show shine! 

 

Nilla Conti, Set Designer Yellow Submarine

Nilla Conti is an architect who loves to design and create almost anything. She loves the theatre and the amazing freedom to imagine something that doesn't exist that it brings. The Yellow Submarine is yet another in a long line of projects with Theatre in the Mountains including Aladdin, Willy Wonka and The Wiz, The Lion King, and You're a Good Man Charlie Brown.

 

Mia Hammerschmidt, Costume Designer Yellow Submarine

Mia has been creating and making things for as long as she can remember. Sewing clothing has been part of how she was raised and has become a passion. She started designing and sewing clothing for her two children which lead her to the Los Gatos Ballet costume crew. With this group, she has created several lead costumes. For three years she has designed and created costumes for Theatre in Mountains, including 101 Dalmatians, Dinosaurs Before Dark, You're a Good Man Charlie Brown and The Jungle Book. She currently serves on the TIM Steering Committee as Costume Coordinator. Mia enjoys creating and making costumes because of the fun involved and because it definitely brings a smile to both the performers and the audiences. 

 

Ally Langell, Costume Designer Wonderland High

Ally Langell has performed in 8 TIM shows as an actress and is now excited to be taking on the role as the costume designer for Wonderland High. Ally has been sewing since she was 10 and she is planning on pursuing fashion as a career. She has worked in the costume workshops alongside her grandma for many years. She is a Junior at LGHS and 16 years old. She is very excited to be taking on the role as costume designer this year!

 

Rick Orlando, Audio Designer

Rick Orlando enjoys the unique challenges that each production presents. Rick has been involved in 11 TIM productions. In addition to running the sound system during the performances, he has been steadily upgrading the equipment used for all TIM productions to improve the audio quality of our performances. He hopes that we will eventually have an audio system capable of showcasing all of the actors vocal talents.

 

Jonathan Frank, Lighting and Special Effect Designer

Jonathan Frank brings both his creative and technical background to the show. As a veteran mechanical engineer who worked for both Universal Studios and Walt Disney Imagineering, Jonathan has engineered and worked on the design and installation of many theme park shows and rides. Jonathan has worked 11 Theatre in the Mountains productions as lighting designer, and he always strives to add a little more tech and flair to each show.

 

Mark Vaughan, Lighting Designer, Technical Guru

By day Mark works as a microwave EDA software developer, but at night and on weekends he is a lighting designer, photographer, Girl Scout leader, builder of carnival games, and dad to Elena and Megan.  During his grad school years he hung and focused thousands of lighting instruments at the Cornell Center for Theatre Arts.  After a twenty year hiatus from theatre technology he was recruited by Theatre in the Mountains to be their new lighting guy (designer, electrician, board-op…) and serve as the Technical Advisor on the Steering Committee.  He looks forward to working with the TIM team and illuminating our young performers for years to come.

 

Kevin Arnold, Videographer/Show Photographer/Webmaster/Steering Committee Chair

Kevin Arnold is a man behind the camera and behind the scenes. He is responsible for filming and producing videos for the cast and their families to enjoy, and also has provided most of the candid photos on the Theatre in the Mountains website. A veteran of over 22 TIM productions, Steering Committee Chair, Production Manager, and the TIM Webmaster, Kevin has enjoyed being part of an organization that provides an incredible opportunity for the children in our mountain community to develop confidence, self-motivation, friendships, and theatrical skills in a supportive and exciting environment.
