Vinh brings a tremendous level of education and experience to our program. Vinh received his MFA in Musical Theater from San Diego State University in 2018 and has worked as a performer and artistic staff member all over the Bay Area and San Diego Area. Some of his recent stage credits include: “Angel” in Rent at Cabrillo Stage last summer, “Sammy” in the Bay Area premier of Allegiance with Contra Costa Civic Theatre, Flower Drum Song with Palo Alto Players, and San Jose Stage Company’s production of Mamma Mia. Vinh has worked as a director, choreographer, teacher, and administrator at several companies and schools such as Bay Area Children’s Theatre, Almaden County Day School, and San Diego State University.

Vinh has been working with TIM since 2014 as a choreographer and TIMPACC director and loves being part of the friendly and supportive artistic community created by Theatre in the Mountains. He appreciates how much the mountain community values the importance of the arts and their impact on children. One of Vinh’s primary goals as Artistic Director is to “establish a distinguished identity for TIM as a vibrant, inclusive, and accessible theatre arts community.”
