Theatre in the Mountains is dedicated to providing theatrical opportunities for children and adults throughout the year. The performances are held in the Loma Prieta Community Foundation/CT English Middle School Gym, which gets transformed into a beautiful theatre space, complete with 20' curtains surrounding the audience, risers for audience viewing and a lobby area. There is also an outdoor amphitheatre that provides the opportunity to do our Free Shakespeare in the Redwoods in the summertime.

In addition, we run TIMPAC, a summer conservatory program for youth 18 & under and a summer Mainstage show, an adult oriented production.

Volunteers are the heart and soul of this organization. We have a dedicated group of volunteers that assist with the production of the Stars to Be Program at Loma Prieta Elementary School and the Theatre Program at CT English Middle School.

Our wide base of volunteer support help us to sustain the program. Volunteers participate in all aspects of our productions, including overall management, scheduling, handling critical production staff assignments, and providing the needed manpower to set up our multi-purpose facility as a theatre for each production. Theatre in the Mountains is under the fiscal sponsorship of the Loma Prieta Community Foundation, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, charitable non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and enhancing educational, cultural and recreational opportunities for residents of the Santa Cruz Mountains in Santa Clara and Santa Cruz counties.
